Moon Lake, your Gaelic name Loughloon.
So named, because your waters
take the splendour of the moon.
And all the troubles of the world away
as shining night descends like day.
Quiescence, and the dreamer meet,
and play a dance -
A melody of silent awe and wonder.
And the child in me delights to see the sea,
as lake of silver shines.
Opened wide my heart breathes in.
My soul, my spirit, can not hide.
All around is drenched in love.
And I stay, and drink the wine.
